WizMeetings has a very “lean” approach: we save international companies valuable time and effort on all the rounds of venue hunting, from qualifying the hotel to negotiating contract clauses thanks to our deep knowledge of hotels and hotel revenue management.

Our client’s base spreads across many industries, medical, automotive, food, household and luxury goods, and IT to name a few.

We are a resource on your side all the way to the event arrival day: we advise you objectively on the destination, request hand-picked hotels – from large conference hotels to individual design hotels- that fit best your budget and company requirements and evaluate their customized offers with you. Our long-term, straight forward, unbiased relationships with senior contacts within all the major international brands as well as independent hotels enable us to share with you hotel insider tips and make you benefit punctually from special deals. And because we know your company culture, we can convey your specific values and policies to the hotels.

If needed, we also provide and orchestrate full event management service together with our seasoned partners; and we find the right person who will source the castle or the museum you would like for a gala dinner, or suggest out-of-the-box team-building activities.

Moreover, for you, our consultant and venue finding services are at no cost at all, as long as we are mandated and involved in the booking until the confirmation of your program: we are remunerated by the hotels from their marketing budget allocated to third parties. It means that your rates are totally transparent and not influenced or increased to cover our fees. And you sign the contracts with hotels, hereby protecting your company’s brand identity and recognized value as a customer.

Régine Zambaldi

Co-founder and Managing Director, has a wide experience in the hospitality industry at senior level. This, combined with her knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the corporate world, enables her to act with a sense of urgency as a go-between, resiliently driven to achieve her client’s objectives.

She keeps developing new opportunities to adapt WizMeetings International to the trends of the ever-changing Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions – MICE – world, and divides her time between Europe and Asia.

Régine is multicultural, has lived in several countries and speaks four languages. She is a postgraduate from the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris (Sciences-Po Paris).

Sven Wicander

Sven Wicander

Co-founder and Managing Director, brings 20 years of hotel experience to the firm. Starting his hotel career with Kempinski Hotels, from rooms division to food and beverage, he has experienced various hotel operations leading roles among others also at Hyatt Hotels in Chicago.

He has also exercised senior positions in Regional Sales and Marketing for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia and Finland at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Based in London, Sven is a multilingual Swede and has a passion for negotiating on behalf of our clients leaving no stone unturned!

Gavin Tyzack

Commercial Director based in the UK. Gavin has over 25 years experience in the hotel industry representing a number of international hotel chains including Hilton Hotels , Corinthia Hotels and NH Hotel Group working in a regional or a Global sales capacity . He is one of a handful of Global MICE professionals who has lived and worked across the ‘pond’ ( both the UK and USA ) so has a unique insight of the MICE arena in both markets. In his spare time Gavin is a great Liverpool FC football fan, he enjoys travelling, good food and wine !

Kerry Cooper

Kerry Cooper

Account Director, based in Los Angeles, shares his years of experience of the hospitality world and travel services with us in the USA.

He has worked for the company Design Hotels as well as Internet based travel sites companies.

Multilingual, he is a graduate from University of Nebraska and has also studied in Europe.

Account Director, based in Zurich, comes with the experience of providing IT services to large multinational corporations and working in high-end tourist market in Russia.

Olga lived in several countries in Europe and speaks five languages. She holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Moscow Technical University.

Denise Bina

Denise Bina

Account Director, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has 20 years of leadership roles in sales and marketing working both at independent luxury resorts as well as for leading hospitality travel technology agencies. Global clients have included Four Seasons, Hyatt, Accor, Starwood, Marriott, Silversea, and Grupo Posadas among others.

Denise is a graduate of the University of Arizona where she now serves on the Advisory Board of the Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences: she enjoys traveling around the globe, and is a fine wine aficionado.

Esra Levent

Esra Levent

Esra is a proud native Istanbulite and has been a leader in the travel industry since 1989. Esra’s 30 years of experience in corporate event planning ensures that her clients get expert services in value buying, creative consulting and smooth execution.

Esra specializes in seeing events through from conception to completion, and her creativity, penchant for detail, and attention to building client relationships ensure that every event is a success.

Outside of work she is an avid cook, culinary art specialist and food activist. She promotes sustainability through increasing awareness about recycling, minimizing waste, using energy efficiently, raising and eating fresh, healthy and locally grown food.

Esra speaks Turkish, English and German.
